About us

Kim started playing bridge in his lunch break at work in 1997 and soon developed an enthusiasm for the game. He soon joined a local bridge club, invested in several bridge and attended weekend training events. Now he is an EBU-qualified Teacher and Director, a Bernard Magee Bridge (BMB) proof-reader and BMB quiz creator. Kim is a regular player on BMB Teams events and he has been running a teaching table at the BMB Saturday morning session online since its inception.

Over the last 24 years Kim has taught bridge at over 80 BMB events around the UK, overseas and on cruise liners. He loves to see that spark of excitement when beginners are introduced to the game and is keen to help intermediate players striving for higher performance.

Kim’s career as a technical consultant took him to businesses in Germany, Canada, London, Scotland and Hampshire. Now he gives his time to a local charity. Kim also enjoys playing chess and scrabble, taking countryside walks, sight-seeing and learning Spanish.
